Heartland Cooperative’s

has expanded to four main locations:

With the opening of our new Brokaw grain site location this fall Heartland will now have four main mill locations: Athens, Dorchester, Sheldon and our new Brokaw location. We are handling millions bushels of grain each year at these locations.

We are currently handling corn, soybeans, wheat, oats and barley. We also provide all the grain marketing tools one would need in this commodity based arena. Our grain merchandiser is only a phone call away at 1-800-521-2021. We also provide cash bids on our web site. Click on the cash bids tab on the menu or click here to go to the cash bids page.

.
The mill will have storage and drying capacity of 2.2 million bushels
with bean roasting capabilities in the future.

The new state of the art 4000 bushel per hour grain drying dryer will run continuously on natural gas, a big advantage over drying facilities that run on LP. We are also keeping the current 3000 bushel per hour grain dryer for any extreme grain situations we encounter in the future.

Merrill Mill Manager Ed Sabey says the goal  is to help producers increase efficiency.

“Our goal is to get the customer in and out within 15 minutes. In this business today, customers can not afford to wait for hours to unload. That is why we will have a 10,000 bushell per hour unloading capcity.

Time is money and Heartland is investing in the equipment that will help us meet that goal."

It is all part of Heartlands philosophy of Y.E.P! Yield, Efficiency and Profits!

We are now taking applications for seasonal employment for our Brokaw grain site. Contact Mark at 715-218-4054
